Our purpose for this blog.

This story isn’t my story. It isn’t simply the story of Elise. This is the story of a family—my family. They are my world and we love each other. Like your family, ours has a unique story with unique blessings and unique trials.
For us, our greatest blessing and greatest trial centers in our “Silent Princess.”
This blog will never replace Elise’s voice, but will allow us to share her story and ours with as many people who wish to feel inspired, laugh out loud, cry a little, and to understand life with an undetermined and unidentified but very special, special needs child.
As a friend of ours once commented that perhaps Elise’s purpose on earth was simply to make others smile. Anyone who has met her knows her amazing capacity to do that very thing. She has a divine purpose on this earth and part of that purpose necessitated her incredible spirit to be housed in an imperfect body.
As you explore this blog and look into our journey with Elise you will feel moved to have compassion on others, feel greater love toward your family and have increased hope in the goodness that life has to offer. We hope to help others know where to find the hope, peace and joy we have with a special needs daughter.
